AFUA
​
AFUA (Association of Family, Users and Friends of the Hospital de Magalhães Lemos) is a non-profit social institution, created in 1999, whose mission is to promote mental health in the community and train skills and empowerment of its users. The proximity between the various elements of the rehabilitation process is considered crucial so that they can pay attention to the first signs of decompensation, minimizing hospitalization and improving the success of treatment.
