Mãe Maria de Nazaré
Casa da Sopa Association - Mãe Maria de Nazaré, based in Lisbon, is a non-profit association that with the exclusive help of volunteering provides food and clothes.
On Sundays they make about 500 soups with vegetables grown in their own garden, which are distributed to the community. They distribute food baskets monthly to around 50 registered families, also offering medical services, clothes, nursery care, personal hygiene products and training actions.

In December 2020, according to data from the Lisbon City Council, more than 350 people were living on the streets, of which 140 have become homeless in the last year.
